@Bookfool: Thanks, Nancy. I love this photo. I shot it in Oregon just about 5 years ago. The photo has been used on so many things (bookmarks, t-shirts, slide show, and urn for ashes). I know. Time flies whether you're having fun or not. It's hard for me to believe, too. Yep, Shay-Shay is a first-grader. Almost a second-grader! Her mommy would be so very proud of her. She's very smart and loves to read. She even went fishing last weekend and caught four fish! :) Now to teach her some photography... @grouser: Thanks, Grousie. @SuziQoregon: Thanks, SuziQ. I appreciate you stopping by with your comment. Means a lot... @Eric: Thank you, Eric. It's been a rough four years, but we're getting by. Something we'll never get over, but we're learning to live with it as best as we can. Thanks for commenting. @john4jack: Thank you so much, Jack. It's a tough day -- no, make that a tough month. Lots of memories in this month (college graduation, Mother's Day, Rod's birthday, and of, course, today). Then there's Father's Day next month. We'd be happy to skip several weeks out of the season, but we do what we can do. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. They are greatly appreciated. @Steve Rice: Thank you, Steve. Your comment is deeply appreciated. @Lilly and Ronnie 2¢: And we appreciate your quiet thoughts more than you can ever know. Thank you, Lilly & Ronnie. @peter: Thank you for your kind comment, Peter. It is deeply appreciated. |
