St. Louis Arch Series (ii)

Posted by Lesley (Lincoln, United States) on 12 May 2009 in Architecture and Portfolio.

This was shot during the day, but I decided to see what it looked like in b&W with a little tweaking to the contrast.

MontereyJohn from Salinas, California, United States

That is good, and brings back some really fine memories. I lived in St Louis for almost 20 years. Sometimes I miss it, but not the winters or incredibly miserable and muggy late summers. For sure I miss the Cardinals and follow them to this day.

@MontereyJohn: I'll bet SL has gone through a lot of changes since you were there. I enjoyed the botanical gardens and the zoo, but unfortunately the Cards played their last home game (for the week) just as we were arriving. Our hotel was one block away! Given a choice, I think I'd pick Salinas over St. Louis any day.

Elora from Genoa, Italy

Fantastic! I like your choice of BW. Great idea!
