So, what do you think the Post-It Note is covering up? Wonder who they don't allow! :)

Very perceptive, Les! I've never heard of that name for a church!!

@john4jack: This is the same church as this one. It's in Roche Harbor.

jamesy from christchurch, New Zealand

Great shot Did you have a peek?

15 Feb 2009 8:55am

@jamesy: You know, I didn't! When I shot the picture, I was mainly concerned with the sign and didn't really notice the Post-It note until I was scanning through my thumbnails. Now it's too late to check since this was taken on a vacation. Of course, I could inform my husband that I have to go back to do some research... ;)

Alun Lambert from cheshire, United Kingdom

did you find out ?

@Alun Lambert: No, I sure didn't. See my reply to Debbie's comment.

I do know of someone who is going to be in Roche Harbor in a few weeks. Perhaps she could check for me!

@Lorraine: Thanks, Lorraine! :)

Yep Les the 'Bookster' filled me in on the loon. I came across these wonderful birds in Northern Ontario before the coins existed though.
There is something irritating me about the use of English here. Surely a plural or a 'the/a' is needed. If I could I would put up a post it note about it. Yours sincerely I. Mapedant

@grouser: And I first encountered loons while vacationing at Ludlow's on Lake Vermillion in Minnesota many years ago.

You should see some of the terrible signs we have here in the Midwest. On one particular street, we have three different signs indicating Apple's Way, Apples' Way, and Apples Way. Shameful!

Maybe no-one is welcome.
