Natures clock...we used to blow off the seeds and how ever many blows it too clear the head, thats what time it was...it works too:-) Lovely shot!

I made Dandelion wine once,it was ok, the young leaves are nice in salad,the dried roots make a passable coffee substitute,the flowers are beautiful..."All this from a weed" Something wrong somewhere, ;>)

They really are beautiful things. This is a lovely and welcome shot as I stare out at the snow.
When I was a we lad, we ate boiled young dandelion leaves. They are very much like spinach.
