Beautiful tribute. Christmas will never be the same without her.

@john4jack: No, it never will be. But maybe (hopefully) as the years progress, it will get a little easier. Still not quite there yet...
Thank you for your kind words.

Such a beautiful tribute to Rachel, Looking through the links was very emotional, Christmas is such a hard time for those that have lost and I feel for you all but am Sure Rachel is looking down and smiling at such a beautiful tribute

@JJ: Thanks, JJ. We're not as fragile as we used to be, but Christmas brings back so many memories. It's the time of year we spent the most time with Rachel, at least in the last years of her life. Those homecomings were so special and her absence is felt deeply. Thank you for your kind words and for taking time to look through my other blogs.

Places and moments in the heart are built on love, and the memory of loved ones who have gone on. A beautiful way of remembering Rachel and including her memory in all your significant moments to come.

@Viewfinder: Thanks, Glenn. She is loved, thought of, and remembered every single day. Thank you for your kind comment.

I'm struggling to find words - I just spent some time looking through your older posts and your other blog. I had no idea. Your tribute to your daughter is as beautiful as she was. Although I've had losses that still hurt, I can't imagine losing a child. My heart goes out to you and your family. Sending wishes for a beautiful and peaceful new year.

@willow: I know it's so hard to know what to say, Willow. I appreciate the time you took to look through my other blogs and to leave a kindhearted comment here. We're not as fragile as we were a year or two ago, but Christmas (and Christmas Eve) are especially rough. Thanks again for your friendship.
