Linerberry from Sumner, Christchurch, New Zealand

Hehehe, very well seen and captured!

23 Nov 2008 5:11am

@Linerberry: Thanks, Liner. It was a damp morning and I worried about getting my camera wet, but pleased with the outcome.

Lorraine from Gatineau, Canada

That's lovely Les, it almost looks like two different parts, the tree is fantastic, greatly composed ;)

23 Nov 2008 12:51pm

@Lorraine: Thanks, Lorraine. It had been raining on and off all morning, but I was determined to get out and get some shots of the church. The trees in that area are quite beautiful.

Veronelle from Lens, France

beautifull tree

23 Nov 2008 12:55pm

@Veronelle: Thanks, Veronelle. I believe it's a Madrona tree.

JJ from Jersey City, United States

great angle to get this and give such a cool title, looks so beautiful in your area

23 Nov 2008 3:14pm

@JJ: Oh, I wish this were my area! We were vacationing in the San Juan Islands and spent a very foggy/rainy day at Roche Harbor. In spite of the rainy weather, I'd move there in a heartbeat!

Craig from Vacaville, California, United States

Great title Les!

23 Nov 2008 3:46pm

@Craig: Thanks, Craig. Every once in a while, a fun title pops in my head. Usually, they're pretty dull!

Alun Lambert from cheshire, United Kingdom

very good, it does look like its on top of the tree, nice one

23 Nov 2008 4:52pm

@Alun Lambert: Thanks, Alun. Stay tuned for next Sunday's. :)

Michael Rawluk from Williams Lake, BC, Canada

That is a cool title. To bad the tree doesn't cover all but the top :-)

23 Nov 2008 5:00pm

@Michael Rawluk: Funny how a good title just comes to me. Wish it would happen more often!

Yeah, it is too bad that tree didn't hide the lower portion of the church, isn't it?

Bookfool from Vicksburg, United States

I thought you were being literal, before I clicked on the thumbnail. Michael actually has an interesting idea, there. It would be cool to move so that the cross is the only thing you see coming out of the tree.

23 Nov 2008 6:10pm

@Bookfool: You and Michael both have a cool idea. Hmmm.

jamesy from christchurch, New Zealand

Great shot Les

23 Nov 2008 8:03pm

@jamesy: Thanks, Deb!

@Alphons: ;)

Bellezza from United States

Oh! Is there any building better than a church?! I think not.

Your photographs just amaze me, Les. Really.

24 Nov 2008 2:29am

@Bellezza: They are quite lovely to photograph, aren't they?

You are so sweet, Bellezza. Thank you for stopping by. It's nice to see you here! :)
