@Elena Kotrotsou: It was taken in Friday Harbor (San Juan Island, Washington). He came right up to the aft deck of our boat.
@Craig: Thanks, Craig. I was quite startled when he first popped up, but fortunately I had my camera in hand and was able to get the shot.

When I was working on the river,one used to turn up every day after lunch,on the scrounge for food,and not one bit shy..Beautiful creatures,well captured you.

@JJ: Thanks, JJ. I thought it was so cool, too. I was glad I had my camera handy, as it was fairly early in the morning. No boat activity in the marina, so he/she was content to swim around looking for a handout, I suppose.
