Blogging on the aft deck of the M.Y. Lady Mick (a 1957 Richardson motor yacht) on Lake Union, Seattle, WA (July '07).
This was so difficult to chose, as I have several other favorite places. Maybe I'll do a series of these later in the coming weeks.

@jamesy: Wish I could figure out a way to spend more time on a boat, gazing out on the water, boats, rowers and seaplanes. Definitely the life!

@Lorraine: Thanks, Lorraine. I'd sure like to be there right now. That picture was taken in July 2007. It's FREEZING cold here in Nebraska. 34 (F), windy and trying to snow. ugh.

I saw this one coming from a mile away. It does look like a special place, all right. Love it, especially the propped-up foot and the beer.

@Bookfool: I'm pretty predictable, aren't I? ;) I certainly was having the time of my life, kicking back, checking emails, sipping a beer and watching all the activity on the lake.

@Michael Rawluk: Oh, you have no idea how great it was, Michael. I'd move there in a heartbeat. I love being anywhere near the water, but to actually live on a boat (if only for 2 weeks) is amazing.
