JJ from Jersey City, United Statesbeautiful series of shots from here, such a peaceful and serene place it seems, I like how you can see way across the water in this one, thanks for sharing 3 Nov 2008 12:56pm @JJ: When I'm having a rough day, I look through all these pictures from that wonderful vacation and I immediately feel a sense of peace. I hope I don't have to dig them out tomorrow night! Nina from Hamburg, GermanyA lonely boat in the distance... wonderfully captured, I like this romantic image very much, Les! :) 3 Nov 2008 2:45pm @Nina: It does have a romantic feel to it, doesn't it. I love being anywhere near the water, but being on a boat for two weeks was beyond my wildest imagination. We came home and were tempted to sell all our belongings and buy a live-aboard boat! Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaLovely addition to this beautiful place, the boat is gorgeous and I love reflections :) 3 Nov 2008 2:49pm @Lorraine: The boat was gorgeous, especially on that calm water. @Craig: You should try to get up there someday, Craig. It's heaven on earth! @Alun Lambert: Thanks for your very nice comment. :) @Giovanni: Thank you! Jeff from Pembroke Dock, United KingdomI do like this shot, the overcast weather, the grey rocks, and then the red and pink breaking it up,!Magic! 3 Nov 2008 7:09pm @Jeff: It was quite a magical trip! I'm ready to go back. Depending on tomorrow's election, I might just do so! @jamesy: I do too, Debbie. I don't think it would've been quite as dramatic if it had been a sunny day. Michael Rawluk from Prince George, CanadaIt looks like the idyllic seaside shot. Beautiful. 3 Nov 2008 9:10pm @Michael Rawluk: It's a bit of paradise, that's for sure, Mike. Bookfool from Vicksburg, United StatesLove the layers in this photo, but I think it's that sailboat that really makes the shot (and certainly makes me want to go sailing). 3 Nov 2008 11:35pm @Bookfool: Me, too. I'd love to go sailing (or motor cruising) right about now. It was 77 here today and if you ignore all the leaves on the lawn, it feels like summer! @bisha: Me either! |
