bisha from Saitama, Japan

That was our weather last weekend! Is that a shot from the boat?

30 Oct 2008 7:56am

@bisha: Yep. We were anchored in Reid Harbor (just off of Stuart Island). I didn't mind the rainy weather one bit, but then I wasn't in charge of taking the dog ashore in the shore boat. :)

Lorraine from Gatineau, Canada

Beautiful drops and rain effect, love the light green, adds pizzazz ;)

30 Oct 2008 2:10pm

@Lorraine: I know our travel companions weren't too thrilled with the rain, but I loved the cozy atmosphere, especially curled up on the boat with my camera and books.

Jeff from Pembroke Dock, United Kingdom

I know that scene...its like that through all our windows, nice shot. ;>))

30 Oct 2008 5:15pm

@Jeff: We've been lucky with warm, sunny days, Jeff. This shot was taken almost a year-and-a-half ago in the Canadian Gulf Islands. In July, nonetheless!

jamesy from christchurch, New Zealand

Brrr looks very cold. Would you believe that we had a day like that recently too.

30 Oct 2008 7:20pm

@jamesy: You know, it wasn't really cold. Just damp. It was mid-July '07.

Craig from Vacaville, California, United States

Cool shot Les!

30 Oct 2008 11:21pm

@Craig: Thanks, Craig!

JJ from Jersey City, United States

yeah I can relate to this, pretty much was the same here last couple of days

30 Oct 2008 11:33pm

@JJ: As I told Jeff, we've been quite lucky with our warm weather. This was taken in mid-July in '07 and while it was wet, it really wasn't cold.

Bookfool from Vicksburg, United States

Oh, I love that. It looks like a nice day for reading. :)

31 Oct 2008 4:29am

@Bookfool: It was a good day for reading, but I was enjoying my time on the boat and really didn't get much reading in. Spent most of the time gazing out at the view.

bluechameleon from Vancouver, Canada

The rain paints such a different picture of the world, doesn't it?
I love this, abstract but still very real.

2 Nov 2008 2:46pm

@bluechameleon: Yes, it really does! I don't mind the rain as long as it's not too cold. Or windy. Or if there's lightning. Or a leaky roof. OK, maybe I don't really like it too much! :)
