Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaWell you're natural beauty aren't you...(you'll get the joke later) ;) 29 Oct 2008 5:34am @Lorraine: Guess I should find out where everyone gets the theme announcements, eh? ;) Not much of a self-portrait! Bookfool from Vicksburg, United StatesI've been wondering where to find those theme announcements, too. Lorraine's funny. 29 Oct 2008 10:05pm @Bookfool: Did you see Nat's comment about a future theme on November 7th? willow from Chelsea, United StatesEeeew! I've always thought kelp felt sooooo gross. Nice photo though. Great dof. 29 Oct 2008 11:07pm @willow: I think it's rather pretty, but I don't like stepping on it, especially with barefeet! JJ from Jersey City, United StatesOpposite from Willow I have always been intrigued and interested in kelp since I was younger when we went on beach walks and others were looking for shells I was always interesting in looking for kelp in different shapes and colors, so I really like this a lot brings back some nice memories :) 30 Oct 2008 12:41am @JJ: This kelp looks quite a bit different from the "seaweed" we used to see on the beaches in San Diego when I was growing up. This photo was shot in Anacortes, Washington. I suspect there are countless varieties of kelp. bisha from Saitama, JapanLOL at Lorraine! I couldn't remember where I had taken a photo that had a reflection of me in it, and didn't have time to do something creative so I just skipped yesterday. I really hate having my picture taken, I much prefer being behind the camera! :) 30 Oct 2008 7:54am @bisha: Thanks for the heads-up about the November 7th theme. I actually spotted that one a while ago and wrote myself a note (and then proceeded to lose the note!). |
